Back, briefly

Had a lovely time, except for the truly depressing conversation I had with a friend of mine from grad school who is now a professor at MIT. ::shakes it off::

I made a deliberate decision to pace myself with The Book, so I finished it Monday afternoon. I loved most of it, even Basil's many appearances. I also discovered I like being read to, which was quite a surprise.

Off to deal with the many emails in my work addy inbox. Ugh.
