Within a 48-hour period, the NJ Legislature passed a law denying public employees the right to negotiate many conditions of their working lives and the NY Legislature passed a law allowing an oppressed minority the basic Human right to marry. Clearly, the traditional NY attitude of condescension toward NJ is correct after all.
