I hate fundamentalists so much. But what I really hate is how we cater to them. The Republicans want "less government"? Rly? They certainly use it to their advantage to throttle women's rights, gay rights, and education. Less government, my ass.

Oh, don't get me started. Aunt Flo is sure to arrive today, which means it's a good thing I'm not packin'.

I'm not entirely sure how the logic works to go from "the loch ness monster is a dinosaur" to "therefore, evolution is wrong." Sharks are still with us, despite emerging in the Cretaceous, and the fact that they have changed relatively little during that time isn't seen as an argument against evolution.

I suspect that many of them don't know about sharks. That would require actually studying paleontology, which of course is a lie. :)
