It's a boy

The three anchors on CBS This Morning just interrupted themselves to announce that the Duchess of Cambridge has had a boy.  And that the hairdresser has just left the hospital! 

As thoroughly American as I am, and as strongly as I would resist any type of monarchy, I am tickled every time a royal baby is born.  I hope the little guy has a good life. 

Plus, Uncle Harry is now one step farther away from the throne, which I'm sure delights him and soon-to-be Aunt Meghan.
